Blue Bayou has been a must-visit destination for many Disneyland Resort Guests since its opening in 1967. Its mystical setting takes you into the heart of the South—overhead strings of colorful balloon lanterns cast an enchanting glow. The Blue Bayou is one of the most iconic table service restaurants at Disneyland. This restaurant is particularly renowned for its uniquely-themed ambiance, as it is located inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.

Here's what you can expect when dining for lunch or dinner at The Blue Bayou:

The Blue Bayou is a popular dining location, so reservations are highly recommended. You can make reservations online or via the Disneyland app. Upon entering, you'll be transported to a serene, moonlit evening in the Louisiana bayou. The atmosphere is almost magical, with the sounds of crickets chirping, the soft glow of lanterns, and the distant sounds of pirates from the nearby attraction. One of the most unique features of this restaurant is watching the boats from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction float by. It creates a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

The Blue Bayou offers a mixture of Cajun-Creole inspired dishes. The menu might have seasonal changes or special offerings depending on when you visit. It's on the pricier side when compared to other dining options in the park, but many feel the ambiance and experience justify the cost. If you have dietary restrictions or special requests, it's recommended to mention them when you make your reservation and again to your server when you're seated.

For the Vegetarians: an Ecabeche and a

Sunchoke and Pistachio Pesto Pasta.

For Dessert: Chocolate Decadence Tart with Star, Petite Sundae, Basque Cheesecake and a Chocolate-Ginger-Blueberry Mousse.

The kids' menu: Roasted Chicken, Sautéed Shrimp, Whole-Grain Pasta and a Petite Filet.

Alcohol is served at this restaurant, including the Hurricane, one of the most popular alcoholic drinks in the park. Another one of the standout beverages here is the Mint Julep. This is non-alcoholic, refreshing and a favorite among many guests.
